These are white crested black polands/Polish. Rather idiotic looking but very friendly!

Hatch 2 (hatched 26th May)

5 chicks: 2 blacks and a blue (25% silkie, 25% wyandotte, 50% poland) and 2 goldlaced (75% wyandotte, 25% silkie). All from our home bred Silkie x Wyandotte hen "Goldie"

A very belated update..

As it has been about 9 months since I last posted!

We now have...15 chickens including a trio of Polands (pics to follow) and 4 ducks. We've just hatched another 9 chicks in two batches as well...

Chickenopolis has expended and there is now the main coop and run, the free range pen and 2 broody coops with seperate pens. A duck pond has also been deconstructed (with excavation help from Dad's pawing horse!) Next to follow will be a breedng pen.
